Returning Online Purchases
Please note, due to closures and social distancing, we will extend our diamond inspection and return policy timeframe proportionately relative to the length of Stay Home, Stay Safe guidelines to help accommodate our customers.
To be eligible for return, items must be in their original purchase condition, include all product documentation, and shipped within 60 days of when the order was placed.

- You can also return online purchases to our Blue Heron Jewelry retail store location.
- Please provide a copy of your sales receipt or provide the name of the purchaser.
- Custom Orders, special orders, modified, or altered items cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Shipping charges from the original purchase are not refundable, if applicable.
To Send Us Your Return
Please securely wrap the merchandise in a box and insure the package for the full retail price of the item(s). Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Blue Heron Jewelry Company assumes no liability for the loss of and / or damage to the merchandise while in transit to our return location.

Returning an Online Purchase in Store
If the purchase amount is over $995, the refund will require a few days to process: Credit and Debit Cards: Returns will be refunded to the same card used for the transaction.
For credit card purchases under $995: The refund will be transacted immediately or by the following business day. Returns without the sales receipt may be delayed to the next business day if the original purchase details cannot be confirmed when you are in the store.
Blue Heron Jewelry Retail Store Guarantee, Exchange, and Return Policy
To serve you best, please be aware of the following unless otherwise noted in writing:
- We guarantee items that we sell, repair, or make for one year from the final sale date.
- Sizing rings, which we have directly measured, are guaranteed for thirty days. Charges may apply for each size change after thirty days.
- We guarantee that the gemstones we work on with 4 or more prongs will not become loose or fall out within the guarantee period.
- We will reset or replace any gemstone under 1.00 carat should either situation occur during normal wear within the guarantee period.
Our guarantee does not cover:
- Gemstones set with 3 prongs or less.
- Glued items.
- Any rings that have been sized that we DID NOT measure against the wearer’s selected finger.
We are happy to offer a full refund, exchange or store credit on any purchases returned under thirty days if the item is in original, unused, and unworn condition.
Special or custom orders items have separate return policies that are available upon request.
Layaway deposits are non-refundable.
Any items worn or modified may be subject to a restocking fee at the discretion of management.
